Zechariah - How Jesus Deals with Our Past & Future

Zechariah the young prophet whose name means "Remember" He like old Haggai prophecies to the Jew in Jerusalem after they had returned from captivity in Babylon. Seeing their sinful religious indifference of the people, He joined with Haggai to seek to arouse the people to repent and return to God and restart building Gods House the Temple their ministry was effective meeting with success the people repented and turn from their wicked ways and they completed the rebuilding of the temple. He spoke to the people through eight visions, acting out a coronation of Joshua the high priest son as the Priest King, a type of Christ. He Questioning their motives for fasting, and telling them that God requires an inward righteousness rather than an outward show. telling them that the Lord will restore to them one day what they had lost. So, their fast will turn into feast of gladness. He also spoke of future glories for the Jew in Jerusalem. Speaking of the coming Kingly Messiah the Christ, who would come in lowliness, and that He would be the Prince of Peace, He would be rejected, and be crucified, He their Shepherd He would be forsaken by His sheep. And Zechariah gave promises and prediction about Christ's coming Kingdom. O' Has Jesus dealt with your past and secured your future?
